Introducing the second Bucket-o-Chic. I am calling this one the Candy Cane. This pic is CC pre-felting. I intend to give this one as a gift. I come from a long line of plus-size craniums, so I will have to be inventive in the felting/sizing department.
Our new den furniture was delivered today and it is wonderful! Pug is displaced now that her beloved sofa has been moved to the basement and has spent a great many hours looking at me dolefully. poor pug! ;(

A couple of knitting friends have asked for my help in guiding them through their first pair of socks. I am now their knitting guru it seems. (I think they are just razzle-dazzled by the blog – don’t look directly in it’s eyes!!)
I have been reading everyone else’s blogs to see if there are any sock knit-alongs up and running. Have turned up one, but it seems to be a more involved pattern than a couple of beginner sock knitters should handle. Let me know if I have missed any or if you would care to join in ours ….. I have to work out the details with these friends and will post them here once that happens. I expect all you knitters out there (and you know who you are!) to post a comment and join in on the sock-it-to-me sock along!!
Spent a wonderful evening working on the second Bucket-o-Chic. A girlfriend came over and she embarked on her first Bucket. I will have pictures uploaded as soon as I take them.
