It was guild day today and I have finally finished the socks!! I even came home and steamed them and wrapped them, using my Martha Stewart embosser – so it all looks quite good! If J. is at the barn today, I will give her the socks and hopefully get a pic of her feet modeling them.
As if an actual finished project weren’t enough excitement for a body to stand, Peggy (guild hostess with the mostess) surprised us with presents and wonderful taste sensations! Please turn your attention away from the socks and gaze in awe at her homemade delectables (Scottish short bread with orange peel and a nutty edge & cinnamon rolled wonderfulness) ….. moving on, feast your eyes on the mug!!! Yes, today there were lovely parting gifts!!
it is my turn to host the guild next week, and now the pressure is on!!!
