Home again! What a great time we had! I must confess that my quarters weren’t particularly lucky — although I did manage to keep the damage to a minimum. The best news is that I found a fantastic purse in one of the stores!

I am a pursaholic.

During the car ride home I was trying to come up with all the different ways I could talk about this weekend. I was hoping to wow you with some clever outline that would translate all the laughs we had and the crazy nonsense that went on. Hopefully it is just lack of oxygen due to hysterical laughing that is causing this dearth of ideas and not any permanent brain damage! Suffice to say that a great time was had by all.

some time ago, a wonderful girl Melissa made me a blog button of my very own! I have always admired others’ and tried to do one myself. I was unsuccessful – I believe a program like Photoshop is needed to do it properly. Melissa graciously offered her services and now purlingswine has her own button, but isn’t quite sure what to do with it. I have to write some kind of computer code to put behind this button in order for it to link back to my site. I have trouble working the remote control for the television, so this will be quite a challenge. I must tool around the internet and see how this works …..

I am headed to Atlantic City tomorrow! Going for an overnight stay with two girlfriends — I am looking forward to it. I haven’t been there in about 20 years! I am not one to gamble (at least when it comes to $$). But like everyone else, I have dreams of that one quarter hitting it big! If I hit it big, I will take all my winnings to spend at the Sheep & Wool Festival!!. Perhaps some hand forged, bronze knitting accoutrements ala Julia?

note to self: use the word forge more often – very sexy!
