Do not let the lack of posting make you think that I have been living a full and exciting life. I have been glued to the computer (I think I may even be stuck to this chair!). Playing around with different template designs on my upgraded Typepad account has had me pretty motionless. I keep tweaking things, going in circles with this and have decided that the first step should be to come up with some kind of banner for the top of the page. I am hoping that from there, all other decisions will follow.
I have only left this chair for the following reasons:
- to use the bathroom
- to get food to bring back to the chair
- to open the door for the dogs
- to go to my surprise parties
What??? Yes! My wonderful chums did not let this weekend pass without loads of bday celebrations. On Friday evening! L & R took me out to dinner to celebrate. Not seeing that this was coming
I had already eaten dinner. I was very happy to drink Bloody Marys and eat dessert while they had proper meals. Last night, the Barn Gang had a surprise party for me! That was a first — I have never had a surprise party before. Having this one lessens the sting of having never been anyone’s flower girl! I promise to take a picture of the birthday bounty and post it. I also had loads of bday phone calls and postings to PurlingSwine from new & old friends. It was a great weekend! kisses to everyone!
