Most of the recipes came from the book A Real American Breakfast by Jamison & Jamison. It is a wonderful cookbook — full of great recipes and interesting bits of history!

Did not get too much knitting done over the weekend. The Vest has a turned hem, and I did manage to get that turned under and stitched. Saturday evening I planned to pick up ye old needles. My pal C. came over for some knitting and movie watching — she needed lots of help with her project (her first pair of socks), so not only did I not get any knitting done, but we didn’t even watch the movie. It was all worth it though for the amount of laughing we did!

Tonight, I am going to a new craft store, AC Moore. I have heard that they have a wonderful yarn selection and it is 25% off!!! Thanks to KatyKnits for the heads up!

  1. Ann, brunch sounds great! I hope ACMoore doesn’t disappoint you. My only issue, which I forgot to mention, was finding enough yarn in the right dyelot. They didn’t have the bags and bags stacked to the ceiling like Michaels. I hope you get something cool.
