I have told you that my laptop is ill. It has been sent off to the Gateway clinic for a bit of treatment – I should have it back in a week or two. It is going to be a long week or two. I have had my laptop for a little more than a year and I cannot seem to manage without it! It has become indispensable. Mind you, we have two other, fully functioning computers in this house. It just isn’t the same. I believe I mentioned the hardness of the computer desk chair and the delicate nature of my derrière? It’s like sitting on a pew! If it takes longer than expected for the laptop to come back to me, I may have to fashion some kind of seat cushion!! Or better yet, maybe a pair of FanPants! ;)
Today was a lunch and knitting day. I am plugging away on the button band for The Vest – it is all good, but rather boring. Perhaps I will snap some pictures and liven things up around here. But until then, content yourselves with this. How fantastic would having one of those babies be? And wouldn’t that make for a great girls’ night? Where did you find the fanpants? And will you be coming next Friday? It is workshop meeting–I am doing a felting workshop. Someone is doing one of those beaded amulet bags…but I think you had to buy the kit ahead of time. Another is doing the sock on the 40″ needle…
