There is another knitter in my family. She only makes these and these. She is very talented, but she will not make anything else. Believe me, I have tried. Her son, my cousin just had a baby girl!! That is why I am furiously working on this. I have planned a trip to visit the family on Monday – inspiration to knit this hit me this morning. I have been doing little else all day. It has become clear that I am not the fastest knitter out there. wish me luck!
In other news, we had a bit of a SnB last night. Ricki, Peggy and Kathleen came over — lots of fun! As if knitting weren’t enough, Kathleen is a confirmed pug-lover – that makes her one of my favorite types of people! We had a great time. I made the rhubarb upside down cake — we pronounced it good!
I have to go now – no time to play — gotta keep those needles clicking!
