Because this is a knitting blog – and only for that reason – I will post a small bit about my knitting.
I have been knitting. Just not much. There are a thousand reasons why – but mostly it’s been too hot and I’ve been too busy.
Daughter #1 participated in an early morning riding clinic today. I took Banff along, thinking I could get loads of progress made while I watched. One might assume that there were drawbacks to knitting near livestock – manure, hay, flies etc. And those indeed are some hazards. However, today’s biggest speedbump came in the form of one small barn kitten. The barn calls her Hambone but I have decided to name her Purl. She was persistent – cute, but relentless. In two hourse I managed to churn out a paltry 7 rows.
We are leaving for an extended weekend tomorrow and there will be no kittens in the car. Hopefully I will have a better progress report for you!
