Who could have guessed that knitting could be so volatile, so dangerous? Sure, there are pointy needles involved, but I think everyone would agree that knitting is by and large a placid activity. What’s next? Safety goggles, helmets …… stunt doubles??

I was once carrying my knitting in a cute little tote dedicated to my knitting and misjudged the width of a doorway (and me). The needle which was sort of wedged in the bag peirced through the canvas of the bag, my slacks, and my skin! Blood, bruise, you name it. Not pretty!
