I am hard at work on the Mini Sweater aka Boobholder. I am hoping to have it finished this evening. My progress is due in large part to the wonderful helpful Mindy of Gidget Casts On. I was confused and confounded by portions of the pattern and Mindy walked me through it! Yay for Blog Friends!! I have not taken any pictures of the sweater, but do have some of our new barn.
We moved barns last week. The girls’ trainer decided to strike out on his own – here are some pictures of the new place. Isn’t it cute? It is a further drive for us, but it’s scenic and goes quickly.
ps. the car was inspected and Daughter #1 has her new test date later this month. Perhaps I won’t be making the drive at all in the near future ……

I’ve lived on LI for 19 years now, and it still amazes me when I find places with such rural loveliness as your pictures. Unfortunately, most of them are too far east to be livable or too expensive to be affordable for me, but still, it’s nice to know they are here.
How soon Joanne forgets where she met me… In CORAM. I lived in a big old Italian farm house, a stone’s throw from a horse farm to the North and just a hair away from the crack dens of Gordon Heights. I had deer at one end of the property and drug addicts at the other.
I’m born and raised Long Island. Its shocking the way it has changed over the years. A shame too.
