I am happy to report that Knit Picks not only has great yarn at fabulous prices, but they also have one of the very best customer service departments!  I called them first thing this morning and explained my crazy situation to the nice woman who answered the phone.  She was aware of the problem with the catalog and internet site, but wanted to check with her supervisor regarding what the company was going to do about it.  Could she call me back?

She called back within 10 minutes or so saying that they would be sending me all four skeins right away!  Remember – the error in yardage would only have covered one skein’s worth of yarn, the rest of my problem was due to a pattern error and not Knit Picks.  They are being especially wonderful and I am an especially satisfied customer!

Thank you to everyone for your kind comments about my game of bumper cars yesterday.  I really and truly am fine – but I will be sure to keep an eye on things and not push myself if anything does start to ache.

Onslow is another story.  ::sniff::

He is at the body shop as we speak.  I spoke with the insurance adjuster today and they will be going there tomorrow for a look at Onlsow.

Did you ever see the Seinfeld episode where Elaine is dating that guy all for his good looks and then he is in some kind of climbing accident and she is trying to be all noble, saying that she will still love him despite his terrible disfigurement?

well, I hope that isn’t going to be me.

I love Onslow.  He has a great personality.  He is a swell guy.  But I am in it for his looks (and of course what he packs under his hood!).  ; )
