It is not all about the bacon around here. There has been some knitting going on! This is a baby set I made for a friend’s baby shower. She doesn’t know if she is having a girl or boy and I thought that this pattern and yarn were gender neutral.
pattern: Chevron Baby Cardigan & Hat from the Nashua Bloom book.
yarn: Cascade 220 superwash
The booties are a pattern I found on Ravelry. It is the Magic Slipper pattern and I followed TinkerTots directions for some design mods.
What a cute pattern! I love it…
So cute! I love it.
Oh how cute! I have plenty of baby stuff to knit this winter so I’ll keep an eye out for that booklet. I especially love the booties.
P.S. Will wants me to get him a shirt that says “My Woman loves yarn more that she loves me!” to wear at Rhinebeck. Shall we order one for Mr Boar also?
That is so cute!
Love the booties. Can’t understand how it can be that I haven’t knitted that pattern from Bloom (in my 4-sweater Bloom binge of June).
Adorable!
Oh I love this set! The hat is adorable ! I just found out I am going to be a granma in April so been looking for patterns. Have to add this to my list! I was not sure about which yarn to use. Is Cascade your favorite and can you suggest others?
Beautiful!
It is gorgeous, love it and the color
glad you didn’t come to the shower since I got all the ooh’s and ah’s for my sweater and you would definitely have stolen my thunder! It’s adorable..
Hahahahaha, that last comment made me laugh out loud. I saw this the other day and must have forgotten to comment! Cute set — I’m a little bit enchanted by those booties.
Can anyone recommend a website that will ship the Nashua pattern books internationally? Love that pattern!
Thanks for posting this great article!
