am I having a second adolescence?

Spent the day working on the crochet project — it is a new winter coat for one of my pooches — Mo. It is freezing here, and his little fancy-boy hairdo doesn’t offer much in the way of warmth. The coat is almost finished. It has been a long while since I did any crocheting — just granny squares. My left hand was feeling strained during this project and this doesn’t happen when I knit. Wonder why that is? I will hopefully have some pictures to post tomorrow. I have had some knitting requests — a hat (dare I say, Bucket-o-Chic?) for my cousin and mittens for my sister-in-law. What is that old saying … idle hands and working devils ….. no worries here!

We are off tonight to a piano recital — the burden of talented children! :)
