So we are on our way to the driver’s test. Daughter #1 is nervous and on top of it all is having an allergy attack (a cat snuck into her room and was sleeping by her head). To distract her, we are talking about her various girlfriends and their experiences with the test. She tells me about one friend, who drove all the way over to the testing site, waited online for about 30 minutes and then couldn’t take the test because her inspection sticker was expired.

can you guess where I am going with this?

I am in the Mommy Hall of Shame.

at least we didn’t have to wait in line.

Daughter #1 takes her driving test today. Keep your fingers crossed — lots of her friends have had to retake it, I hope for my sake that she passes. not that I will be throwing the keys her way anytime soon …..
