Just off the needles is this Paper Moon Hat. It is a gift for a friend who is undergoing chemo treatments. Bianca was out on a date, so I had to step in for the model shot. I love this hat and plan on making more. I was working on this in a Starbucks recently and a woman who was sitting across the way told me it was the best hat she had ever seen. My pots and bedding plants looked like total crap this year. Luckily I have the dreary June weather to blame rather than myself. In past years when this would also happen, I was left feeling farmers’ remorse “if only I had watered them more.” “if I had heeded the directions on the little plastic thingy” “if maybe the dogs hadn’t peed on them so much”.
Mr Caterpillar doesn’t seem to mind however.
