of course i can’t make the picture bigger to fully appreciate their beauty. i’ll bring the bells for them – hopefully will find them somewhere. i will feel so jolly wearing them. at least if i fall in a snow drift i can stick my hands out and i will be found

The mittens are gorgeous! What a great color! Now that you’ve got the mitten rhythm down, I’ll be sure to post updates on my unspun wool lined mittens on my blog so you can do some of them too. Maybe we should have a mitten-along. But I should warn you I’m one of those annoying knitters who always swatches :-) Right now, I’m waiting on my friend to send me a tracing of her hand so I can start them, but I’ll keep you updated.
