Was I the only one taking notice of Sting’s performance at the Academy Awards? He was nominated for his song You Will Be My Ain True Love and performed with Allison Krauss. So there he is, onstage singing that beautiful song and playing the hurdy gurdy. I have never seen a hurdy gurdy before and really didn’t know what he was doing, what with the way he was rotating his hand around and around and around.(thanks to ljc for cluing me in)

I had the same reaction to that rotating hand but I didn’t know about the “tantric” thing he had going I just had my own fantasy about that. I also didn’t know that was a hurdy gurdy he was playing. thank you Ann for once again making my world a little larger.
