Here are some pictures of Guild projects.
First off, there is Ricki’s Sod Sweater. A while back, I posted a missing poster on her behalf. She had gotten as far as the last sleeve, was within four rows of finishing and ran out of yarn. After fruitless searching (thanks Julia for your efforts!), someone suggested that she simply make both sleeves two rows shorter. Here you have the result:
She is now the only vision of spring around here!
Next is Peggy’s talent. Her Koigu creation is finished and in use!
We all remarked how in pictures details show up that you may have missed with the naked eye – such as the colorings in Peggy’s sweater – or, in some cases, that extra five pounds you thought no one would notice!! ha, ha!
And I continue to chug along on the socks — passed the cuff and getting ready to turn the heel!
Tell Ricki her sweater looks magnificent! I’m so glad she found a workable solution! And the Koigu sweater is great too – just curious, how many skeins did it use? I’m wondering because my friend used 6 skeins of Kureyon to make a scarf, and I have 9 skeins and am now wondering if it’s enough to make anything bigger than a bag! Aren’t knitting groups fun? Did you get them to make pannini for you?
I’m in love with Peggy’s green sweater!!
Retrack that, distracted by the damn dog!!! Ricki’s sweater is my dream. But not to let Peggy feel slighted, her labor of love is beautiful as well.
