Chelsea, she of Small Hands had a great idea. She is also planning a trip to the Maryland Sheep & Fiber Festival and thought it would be great if we could have real buttons made from our blog buttons. That way we could all maybe spy each other in the throng. Anyone know how we could do this?
There is a buttonmaker you can buy at Michaels to put this together. You must print the design and then press it into to button with a special accessory. Used to have a super deluxe one but wore it out with all my school projects. Definately got my money’s worth out of that baby.
Another cheapo possibility is to get clear sticky plastic shelf liner, print out the button, sandwich in the liner, trim, and attach a safety pin on the back. Not as classy as the button maker, though!
I like the idea of a purling swine! :)
