Tied-Up-Tee is ready for blocking! I have seen the blocking light – thanks to ChicKnits! Once it is seamed, I need to decide what to make/use for the lacing – I-cord or something else? I am leaning toward the something else option. I think that the I-cord might look too heavy, especially on the sleeves. What do we think about thin leather laces? This sweater is among one of the first items that I have actually thought about before knitting. I have been knitting for twenty years, but most of that was spent just following patterns – I was a sheep! Now I am starting to really think about what I am doing and how it will effect the end result. I owe most of this to my blog reading. Never before did I consider a selvage edge, the advantage of a decrease over a bind off and the slant of that decrease as a design element.
