It is something of a lazy day here at the sty. ;) It is with monumental effort that I dragged myself through the usual round of Monday morning chores. I have nothing to blog about!! uh-oh!
Tied-up-Tee is done blocking and awaits seaming …. something I plan on doing tomorrow. Progress has been made on Banff. I am almost done the 42 rows of ribbing. I played around with swatches for a bit and settled on my 10½’s. You will be pleased to hear that I did indeed get out the measuring tape! This sweater calls for 12-16″ of ease, so I decided to go with the large. I have gone around the Banff along webring and see that many knitters made the sweater a bit longer than the pattern. I do believe I will take this advise to heart and add an extra inch. I also have some sewing projects that are calling to me and we should not forget the pull of Proud Mary. There is not enough time in the day for all of this!
Our weekend was filled with bbq’s and merriment. Did you know that they make a Bucket-o-Margarita? I think I may have had a bit too much merriment.
