Have you ever noticed that the UPS delivery guys are all adorable? Is it some kind of job requirement? Can it be the brown shorts? the bulging calf muscles? what is this hold they have over us??
I know, there are those out there starting to make ‘package’ jokes in their minds. shame on you.
We love their packages, I don’t know if it’s the uniform as much as it ‘s the package, they can park their package on my porch anytime …… oh yeah.
Who amongst us, doesn’t love getting a package? The surprise, the excitement, the anticipation …. the charm cannot be denied.
But if we were really honest with outselves ladies, if we took a long, hard look in the mirror, we would all recognize the universal appeal of the UPS guy.
Sure we love the package, but this is what we’re really after!

I get so excited when I hear that happy truck rumble to a stop. Boxman makes my day! I think they should add a shiny gold cape to the uniform so that it waves in the breeze as Boxman stands on your stoop, box in hand, calf muscles pulsing…. We have a Boxman here on campus that looks like Tom Cruise. ALL the women on campus swoon when he walks into their office. They fight over who gets to accept his package ;-P
Ooooooh yeah, love my UPS man. He is so sweet, he carries all of my packages into the house (because of my MS) and brings dog treats for my two dogs. You should see their confusion in the rare times we get a relief driver who leaves the package on the porch sans treats! They look at me like…”HEY, this ain’t fair – you got a package Mom, where’s our goodies?”
Completely true about the UPS guy! It’s the legs. That and that he always looks so outdoorsy. Every other man I know has that fluorescent light pasty skin.
