Chelsea is the sweetest thing!
After running errands in the gray dampness yesterday, I came home to find a package in my mailbox! It was one of those padded envelopes and was wonderfully lumpy and heavy (some things are really good when they’re lumpy and heavy). Seeing the return address, I held back from my first instinct to open it with the scissor and tore into it instead. You didn’t think I would carefully peel back the packing tape, or something ladylike like that, did you?
Here’s what I found:
- cool pug magnet
- bath salts— how did she know I love oatmeal?
- beautiful satin drawstring bag
- handmade stitch markers and funky little oinker
- close up of the stitchmarkers
- lovely Santa Fe card – want to see Chelsea’s handwriting?
*yes, I did notice that she called me an enabler — but I know she meant that in a good way! :)
Thank you so much Chelsea – you really made my day! this one’s for you!
Yes, I am back. After a forced sabatical from my computer because hub thinks he is a computer genius…need I say anymore? I was having SWINE withdrawals. I am glad to be caught up. I missed you. Back to the topic at hand… don’t you just love those little packages? I am very excited for you. I get them all the time from my mom in FL. Sometimes they are pretty bizarre. Well, here I am, an avid reader back on track. By the way, the knitting is stagnant. There is hope…….
oh, I am *so* glad you liked it! I actually had the magnet and piggy ON HAND at Rhinebeck… but our ships never crossed! Thank you for all the kind words and encouragement and acceptance!
