that’s the sound of me snoring……
It’s a gray, windy, rainy day here and after D#2 got off to school, I went back to bed. Just to watch the morning news and weather report. The next thing I know, it’s 10:30.
good grief – I can’t remember the last time I slept in like that. It has completely frigged up my schedule, which means less time for blogging. That’s okay – not much to say anyway. Because of it’s size, my Kiri shawl has stopped looking like a crotch and is now looking a bit … Hassidic. By the way, did you read Julie’s comment in that post? She told me to google the word merkin. Who knew blogging could be so educational?!
And another thing — a few of you have posted high school pictures. Do you know that that frickin meme drove me deep into my photo albums – every single one of them. Which of course was a little weepy seeing how cute my girls were. Still are. but you know what I mean.
So there was some soft sobbing.
All trying to find a certain picture of me in my band uniform spinning a rifle …… haven’t turned it up and now it’s driving me crazy. I just saw it when I painted my room (that’s where I keep the photo albums) and I remember tucking it away. But where??!!
Don’t hurt yourself trying to remember if you stop and rest the answer will come in the middle of the night. You’ll wake up and say oh yea that’s where it is. It happens to me all the time. Must be getting old and losing brain mass.
Oh yes…merkin. We often use that work for bad toupees.
Obviously, you needed the sleep. I’m jealous!
I guess that is WHY YOU didn’t stop by the shop!!
It does mess up your day when you sleep in, for me its a rarity too and then I feel like I’m trying to catch up all day. But the sleeping part feels so good.
It must have been the morning for sleepyheads… I slept ’til 8:00, which might not sound all that late, but considering that my alarm usually goes off at 5:00, well, that’s THREE extra hours of sleep (plus I went to bed fairly early last night)!
I’m having exactly the same problem finding a picture of Katie — I may have to settle for my “K”, not that there aren’t a million cute pictures of her around here. ; )
I never heard of a merkin — and I keep thinking gerkin, but this is about as far from a pickle as you can get. I think.
I was a rifle spinner too. I can’t believe I actually did that, there is no way I’d attempt it today.
