It seems that towards the end of every project I become convinced that it will never end. That indeed, I will be knitting it forever. This vest was no different.
But finished it is and Boar loves it! I need a bit of time and distance before I love it — I will love it but for now I am just thrilled that it is finished. I may run a bit of elastic thread through the bottom since the ribbing isn’t snugging up at all. The jury is still out on that one.
In a stunning turn of events, I have not one but two finished things. The other however is top secret! I have given Cara a couple of clues ….. it is cotton, it is green and I had to count rows and I had to rip it out a bunch of times. ;)
Handsome – both! At least what is available to see of the model. Nicely done – but if you had just waited a week and wrapped it with a big red bow you’d have saved yourself the Valentine’s gift!
The vest looks great! How cute is he? Tell him the Dude approves.
very impressive! Looks wonderful on your Boar!
That is one handsome vest! You did a wonderful job and it looks fantastic.
Congratulations!! I’m glad Boar likes his vest… I think you will, too, in time. I’d wait a bit on the elastic — it looks fine from here.
YAY!! You finally made it with that blasted baby project.
; )
What’s next?
Fabulous, and he’s ready for GQ!
The vest looks fabulous!
Gorgeous! Yeah, the vest is nice too :)
The vest if fabulous and looks grand on the man. The ribbing doesn’t need to pull in…it sits fine. You did a great job, grrl!
Does he love it?? So glad it is finished! On to Jeanie! Looks good. Glad you gave the guy some ease. ;)
I kind of like that the bottom edge doesn’t pull in. Those cables are so cool. The trickiest thing in knitting is deciding what to knit, and this one is a winner. Boar looks like a Rowan model!
xoxo Kay
Niiiiice! Does Mr. Boar know you have a cute boyfriend on the side?
Very nice! Job well done!
The vest is beautiful. Perfect combination of pattern and yarn and color.
Congrats on the model as well. ;-)
It looks just great from where I’m sitting. :)
The vest looks great.
as always, YOU amaze me! You actually MADE that vest?? are you telling the truth? Next you’ll be knitting boar some eyes and a head! xox
That is truly gorgeous!
