Julia asks how I managed to make the milk carton picture in yesterday’s entry. I used a program that came with my laptop – Microsoft Picture It. I searched the web for a picture of a milk carton and also one of the yarn. I saved these two pictures. In the Microsoft program, I used the ‘make a cut out’ feature and cobbled them together. Voila!

My knitting friend Ricki is in crisis!! Do you remember her — she of the “Sod Sweater”? She has gotten to the last sleeve of the project and is four rows away from finishing. And she is out of yarn!! She has tried going back to the seller – Elann – but had no luck. They gave her the good idea of going to some swap site. Which I believe she has done. She has come up with various schemes, involving &#190 sleeves and possible additions of other yarns.

here are the yarn details – she is searching for one skein of the avocado.

Can anyone out there help??
