You should read Sharon’s site — she did a much better job than I of capturing the flavor of our get together! (plus she said nice things about me!)

Isn’t it great to have cousins that can fill in memory gaps? (my sibling has a terrible memory when it comes to this stuff!!) My cousin J. sent me an email with this recipe:

Scalloped Rhubarb
2 cups tender rhubarb cut up
1 cup sugar
3 cups fresh bread cubes, without crust
1/2 cup melted butter

Mix rhubarb and sugar in one bowl
Mix bread cubes and melted butter in another bowl. In a baking dish arrange a layer of rhubarb, a layer of bread cubes and repeat
Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 min.
Serve warm, topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
