Oh no!
First, it wasn’t going to snow.
Then, it wasn’t going to stick.
Now, we have had whiteout conditions and 4 inches. I cannot tell if it is still snowing because the wind is blowing so fiercly!
I do love snow – except when I have spring fever.
The silver lining? We’re having pancakes for dinner! Nothing says ‘your Dad’s going to be late and I love breakfast for dinner’ more than pancakes after 6 pm.
What’s your favorite non-dinner dinner?
The other great thing about a snow storm is guilt free sitting all day and knitting! My original plan for the day was to paint two doors. It was in the 60’s yesterday and this seemed like a reasonable idea. With today’s freezing temperatures, the paint never would have dried properly so that plan went out the window. There has been progress made on my Pumpkin Patch Clapotis and I’ve been working on him!
ps. is there snowblower etiquette? how late is too late to fire up that beast?

Ooohh breakfast for dinner! I love it! Especially french toast and eggs. We got the snow here too, but I had to work. Yuck! Wish I had been home knitting too instead. That’s a very cute bunny.
We have breakfast for dinner a lot — pancakes, waffles, eggs and bacon, sometimes even with hashbrowns and toast. I love cereal, too. It’s my favorite late-night snack (as well as breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner). Somehow, I feel like I’m sounding like a cheap date…
Ooooo- I love breakfast any time of day or night. I particularly love eggs, either in an omlette or over hard with toast and hashbrowns. Though huevos rancheros late at night is also a particular weakness of mine.
My favorite non-dinner dinner: a Hershey bar and a vodka martini.
I haven’t had breakfast for dinner since grad school. Pancakes and sausages. Yum. I could never convince the boys it was a real dinner. So maybe we’ll indulge again as empty nesters.
Because of the snow, I bailed on a trip to florida, which was supposed to commence at 6:30 this morning. I am home for the week, I think. So, this Friday night looks good for a felting session…..you game?
My favorite non-dinner is . . . French toast! I am a little envious of your snow. Our weather here in the Pacific NW has been so mild and the snow pack so pitiful that the ski slopes have closed and they’re predicting drought this summer. Sigh . . . plus I have to go to work in the rain instead of sitting home and knitting.
I grew up having breakfast for dinner…and I am a light weight…you guessed it.
I love your new look! I have been very slow to get around and visit or comment on my favorite blogs. Somedays I can barely think…you can blame too many martinis at night;-)
