Follow that link back to her site and be sure to check out her entry on October 19th. She has posted a wonderful tutorial on Turkish Cast On. It is a seamless circular method and she has whipped up the cutest little bag – which makes me sorry I never bought the lucet at Rhinebeck.
In other news, I saw Squid and Whale last night – I loved it, the friends I went with, not so much.
And for your daily dose of doggie —- Mr. Poe is starting the steriod today, in addition to reducing the suspected swelling, it is supposed to cause more frequent urination. egads! He will be having his vision re-checked either Tuesday or Wednesday (I need to make the appointment) – hopefully this will work. No matter how this all works out, it hasn’t slowed him down one little bit. If anything, the whole thing has revved him up – he has discovered the magic of peanut butter and is becoming quite maniacal about it.
Wow, Anna!! Thanks for posting this and thanks for the shout out :)
Come back and visit anytime, I know I will!
I love the colors of that Socks That Rock more and more every time I see it!
Yay Poe! Have you ever tried the little doggie pads for indoor accidents? At least it would localize and be disposable, especially in a case like this.
That picture just makes me wish I had bought more STR.
Don’t the steroids make dogs hungry every single second of the day? That’ll be fun to keep up with.
Dear Miss Mess, I missed the post when you broke down and admitted to the world that you are actually a normal human being who has breaking points. So I’m belatedly offering a cyberhug. I know your sense of humor will return intact, but you are certainly allowed to take time off to feel awful when beloved pets are in terrible distress. Hope it all settles down for you.
