all the chick-a-dees are flying the coop! After a long winter break D#2 left for college – she is spending a few days in Syracuse with some friends and then they will be back at Alfred on Sunday. With her vacation over, I feel like the holidays are finally done. whew!

Oooh, my only college enrolled kid leaves on Tuesday. I’m hoping we have a really fun weekend of watching the US Figure Skating Championships and drinking tea and hanging out. She loves to cook, so I don’t deprive her of that little interest when she is home with a kitchen. Now you know why I miss her so much. :)
At least I don’t have those issues to deal with yet! My chick is safely ensconced under my roof.
Any chance Daughter #1 will follow in her mommy’s footsteps and study overseas? It seems like just yesterday you were in Heidelberg.
