I have to make this quick since I want to get the house in order before I head to work – but not before I declare Ann Shayne is a genius! When I lamented being tivo-less and missing the first episode of The Office, Ann suggested I download it through I-tunes. take a moment and let that one sink in.

so simple, elegant and accurate.

  1. #2 son, the 17-yo techno expert, tells me that for $35 you can get a season pass for The Office from iTunes and download every episode as soon as it becomes available. We are going halvsies on it — our TV reception sucks, so it’s better to watch it via the iPod cabled to the TV.

btw, it was your comment about missing the season premier that prompted the conversation between #2 and me — thanks!

  2. When I was in an elementary school production of “The Tempest” as a dancing fairy, my greatest jealousy was that my best friend Shana got to be Trinculo, and say, “I have been in such a pickle.” I love pickles.

  3. Mmmmmmmmmmmm pickles….I feel like Homer Simpson. Wish I could have gone. D2 is a senior and this was BIG homecoming weekend and marching band competitions on Sunday in Copiague & Spring Valley. Crunch a fresh one for me!!

  4. Great. I can’t freaking eat all day and you’re posting about pickles. Thanks. Some friend you are. Bitch.

Ooops. Did I just say that out loud? Sorry. Low blood sugar.

  5. thank you, thank you, thank you!

I too missed the season opener of The Office (I have TIVO but didn’t have it set right) and didn’t know how I could watch that episode.

Thank you. I owe ya one!
