He’s so fine, there’s no tellin where the money went

So it’s Sunday evening and the weekend is winding down. I decide to cruise through the blogs ………

Did you guys check out Mr. Frick? cute, huh? and how about Georgie? a pack of hotties those two!

So what do I do? I quick grab the camera and run through the house in search of Boar, hoping that he still has on his swim trunks. I’ve already got an entry entitled the swimsuit competition running through my head.

Lo and behold, he is NOT wearing his swimtrunks. He is wearing something much, much better and much much sexier than any swimsuit around.

He’s wearing a pillow! While I am sitting on my arse, cruising the Internest, Mr. Boar is putting the sheets on our bed!

Let’s hear it for the Boar ladies – how freakin sexy is that?!

He seemed a bit startled by the flash, and asked what the hell was I doing? So I explain to him that all the knit bloggers were posting pictures of their cute husbands and I think he is really going to take the cake with this whole very sexy making of the bed thing he had going on.

Boar decided to seal the deal with a money shot.

That Boar, he’s a good sport!

It is so hot here. And humid. Even though the air conditioning is running, just knowing that it is that hot is exhausting.

D#2 is attending a creative writing workshop at Adelphi University this week. This is a wonderful thing and she is enjoying it very much. For me it means driving – lots and lots of extra driving. I have been spending many extra hours on the LIE. gah!

And although that does mean more together time with Onslow, I am not thrilled.

When I have not been bitching about driving my smart and creative daughter to wonderful opportunities in my cool little car, I have been hard at work on the Kimono Shawl and will hopefully tomorrow will have some pictures for you. Listening to Cast On on the ipod while knitting is my new favorite thing to do!

my ipod gave me a bald spot

For her 16th birthday, D#2 received an ipod upgrade. She is thrilled. And I received her ipod castoff – her lime green mini ipod.

I have spent the past six hours (at least!) trying to figure this damn thing out. So far I have

  1. accidentally ripped the wire from one set of ear phones
  2. fought with Boar over the semantics of playlist vs. folder
  3. fought with Boar over the semantics of podcast vs. music.
  4. continued fighting with Boar over aforementioned semantics even after a common ground has been established.
  5. listened to Garrison Keillor and Brenda Shayne and a reading of the NY Times front page.

this thing is extremely frustrating – any and all advise welcome. Especially if you can explain to me why these knitting podcasts keep going into a music folder. Do you have any great sites I should know about? I am using itunes, but am willing to jump ship at a moment’s notice.
